We went to Putney for a boating weekend and we were working on our nautical badges. We did rowing, kayaking and power boating. We also did some work on tides, rope sealing and rope types. Lots of the scouts improved their boating skills and are now much stronger than before.
We did a midnight run or chase to a park close by and played a wide game across the whole field. We had to run away from the catchers and if you got caught you became a catcher. And we went to bed at around 1am!!!!!!!!!
The next day we did a bit more boating and packed up to leave. It was one of the best camps I’ve been on in scouts.
